The thoughts we hold and the words we speak are incredibly important. When these two things combine they determine the lives we live. Back on July 13th Danny from Dream Big Dream Often shared a wonderful post about the power of words. You can find that post here. Check it and Danny’s blog out if you haven’t already. I am sure you will find it as informative and interesting as I do!
We sometimes forget that we are powerful beings. The energy of a thought accompanied by words can build or destroy. All we have to do is look around at the condition of our planet to see that hate, envy, and judgment create pain and sorrow. Kindness and love also create. They bring tolerance and happiness.
We are conditioned from the childhood to accept a certain reality, to believe a set of rules and limitations without questioning. Some of us break away from that programming, but many people don’t even consider that life can be bigger than what they are currently living. They don’t imagine that a dream can be more, that it can indeed become real for them.
Our thought energy is strong, sometimes thought alone will manifest change in our outer world, but when combined with words the energy is stronger. Last year I wrote a post about the power of words. You can follow this link if you would like to read it. In the post I spoke about thought and word being a kind of magick. My son calls it Spelling.
This is not an incorrect statement. Words hold power. Let’s do a little experiment. Close your eyes and think, then say the word Love. Go ahead, I’ll wait. What happened in your body when you thought then spoke the word? Your body may have become slightly warmer. Did you feel the expanding in your Heart Chakra? Did someone come to mind? Perhaps your partner or a friend you care deeply about? Go ahead, try again and pay attention to what the thought and word does in your body.
That same energy has the ability to create everything we want for our life. On a larger scale that energy can create a new world for us all! We just have to believe, take a chance, and not give up. If we can imagine it the work is already half done. By daring to imagine we created a reality in our mind. That dream exists, whether it is the perfect job, losing weight and getting into shape, the perfect home, or partner. It doesn’t matter, the dream was made real just by the power of our thought. The next step is to speak it and do the work to bring that reality across the veil into this reality.
So many of us give up. I think that we all have once or twice. We sometimes get tired of believing and trying when we run into brick walls. We just have to remember that all walls have a door somewhere!
Have a great day!
