We have a change in the air for us this weekend. Whether or not this change is a good or bad thing depends on how our bottom card, the Nine of Swords Reversed, will affect us. Let’s take a look at the cards that came up for us and see what could be in store for us.
I think it is important to begin with our Bottom card today because in its reverse position, the Nine of Swords can present two very different meanings across our weekend. In the upright position this card tells us we are struggling with concerns and worries. Reversed, our card can mean we are coming out the other side and learning to let go and see the proverbial light at the end of the tunnel. Allowing us to see clearly and look forward to the future. The extreme of this can also be the case. Some might have taken those worries and ran with them. We could be lost in regret, shame, blame or be in a deep depression. The Nine of swords can even mean some kind of scandal has taken place. Looking toward the weekend, it will be important to let go of things we have no control over, the things that no longer serve our highest good, and forgive. Remember this is the suit of swords, so get the facts of a situation, don’t let worry about what might be cloud us.
Friday begins the weekend with a bang and the Death card. This, of course, rarely means an actual death. Rather it means there is a huge change coming. Because it is the Death card, something is coming to an end. A relationship, an old belief system, a project we have been working on. When this card comes up it generally points to a profound change. Knowing what our bottom card is telling us, I hope this is a good change. One that will open opportunities for very positive things. Remember that thought creates reality, and where there is an ending, there is also a beginning. Many times, our attitude toward a situation makes a huge difference.
Saturday gives us the Seven of Cups and we need to make a decision. This card asks us, what if? It is a card of choices, fantasy, options and paying attention. Keeping in mind what yesterday brought forward we have to decide what to do now. The question to be asked is what do we want? We might not know right now, so don’t think a choice has to be made today. Think about it. Explore all potential options and pay attention to what our gut is telling us.
Sunday rounds out our potentially life changing weekend with the Four of Pentacles. This tells us to be careful with what we have. Don’t spend money on anything that is not really necessary, don’t lend money right now, get things organized, and make plans. This is a time for practicality. Think carefully, consider all the options and what they might involve before making a decision that can effect the future.
Have a wonderful weekend ❤ Shay
