    1. There are two stories going on here. Mama kicked her babies out of the nest so the would learn to fly and the landed on my sons greenhouse and were just sitting there calling for her. The other story is this is how I have been feeling for several days. Very fragile. I feel something big and not good coming.

      1. Glad to hear that they tested their wings and were able to get up and fly!

The birds here are migrating, too…the leaves are already beginning to change colours. I think it will be a bit colder this winter; more so than it’s been the last couple of years. Snow on the beach is very pretty, so seeing some this winter wouldn’t be all bad.

      2. I can do without it so you are welcome to every flake. Being in Wisconsin, I do know I am dreaming. We will get something and I will deal with it and be thankful for it because winter snow is a gift to spring flowers.

      3. Oh, Wisconsin…yes, the Midwest winters are pretty harsh! Seeing big, fat snowflakes in Vermilion, SD – in the middle of May – was an interesting experience, LOL

It snows more in the Midwest, and for a bit longer, than it does in Southeastern Alaska…believe it or not!
